We are living in a time of uncertainty where existing systems often erode our ability to collaborate, to deeply hear each other and in some cases the human spirit itself. We believe that together, we can recalibrate for an equitable future. We seek to collaborate with groups and organisations in transition or working toward this positive future.
We are passionate about facing challenges with hope and working through barriers together. We offer specialist services designing strategy, harnessing creativity and collaboration to reduce risk, navigate uncertainty, and create opportunities for a brighter and more just future, for everyone.

Maree Grenfell is a respected thought leader in all things resilience, climate change and behaviour change. She is passionate about joining dots between people and knowledge - amplifying outcomes for lasting change.
Maree has over 20 years’ experience working on the big issues: sustainability, climate change and all things resilience.
A dynamic and optimistic leader and facilitator, Maree ignites ideas, fosters collaboration and creates safe spaces for meaningful engagement.
Maree founded Once upon tomorrow to share and apply her knowledge, skills and experience to projects that respond to today's and tomorrow's challenges while bringing people along on the journey.
A strategic and creative thinker, Maree is a positive force bringing new mindsets to societal challenges. She draws on an eclectic background in ecology, urban design, sustainability, psychology and community development to create and deliver transformational programs that shift perspective and practice around sustainable and inclusive communities and resilient environments.
With a knack for communication, Maree’s signature strength is to bring clarity and purpose to a project, injecting creativity, enthusiasm and positivity.
Maree brings years of inside experience working for city and regional local governments, not for profit and private sectors. Maree was Melbourne’s Deputy Chief Resilience Officer (as part of the Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities program) creating and implementing the Resilient Melbourne strategy with 32 local councils while developing and delivering Resilience Fundamentals to 1000+ practitioners. She then established and co-led the City of Melbourne’s City Resilience and Sustainable Futures team inspiring ambition and action on complex city challenges.
